Rules and regs for this convention (they're to make your stay more enjoyable... really!):

1. No flip-flops except when inside your town home. You must wear some type of shoe when outside or on campus.

2. BYOB (bring your own bedding... because it kept the cost down). Bring a sleeping bag or twin bedding, towel, face cloth, etc.;

3. Casual clothing is acceptable during the convention. Wear a shirt and tie (a jacket would be nice) to Mass and the banquet on Saturday afternoon/evening. Bring a windbreaker; the night air is chilly due to the coastal location.

4. There is a lockable safe in each bedroom; please do not leave any valuables scattered about your town home. Neither the State Circle nor the college is responsible for loss.

5. The main campus and residences are five miles apart, so make sure you are on time for the shuttle,

6. Don't lose your key... or you'll be a hundred bucks lighter! Wanton damage to college property will NOT be tolerated. Remember the motto of our Order and... BE WORTHY.

7. Electioneering for state office is permitted through lunch on Saturday. NO ELECTIONEERING is permitted during the Saturday afternoon voting. Voting for Mickey Mouse will NOT be tolerated and, if done, will shorten free time... for everyone!

It won’t take long for Palos Verdes Drive North (PV North) to feel like your “home away from home.” That’s because instead of a typical college dorm room, you get to live in a newly renovated, fully furnished, two-story townhouse, complete with a kitchen, living room, patio and garage.

With approximately 400 students living in 78 units built around a central quad, you’ll find that there’s always something going on. A lot of it will be happening at the Fritz Burns Pavilion, which has an outdoor meeting area complete with a fireplace for those balmy Southern California evenings, barbecues, volleyball and basketball courts, and table games. You’ll gather here with your fellow residents for all kinds of events, including comedy and coffeehouse nights, games nights, dances, volleyball and basketball tournaments, “Sundae Sundays,” and “Tie-Dye Days.”
